My slant needs to have the intake/exhaust gasket replaced.
Once upon a time, I'd just deal with it and do it.
But a stroke has made it so that my fingers don't work so well anymore.
So, whats the going fair rate to have something like that done. I'm thinking maybe an hour.

More like 2 hours a shop will charge. I see you are in the rust belt. If they start breaking studs, bolts etc you may be looking at much more. If all goes well and the shop is honest 2 should cover it at max.

I had the manifold off last year. During the rebuild. Put a OE gasket back on, should have done the Remflex gasket then. Hindsight is 20/20.

Wish you were local. You could bring it to me and I would do it just to meet a new friend.

Then a hour is more that enough.Yes I used Remflex on my slant.I've also sandwich 2 Felpro gaskets with good results.
