without seperating the pieces that shouldn't be seperated...

Should be the push in and turn kind but some times moisture gets in and corrodes them and they wont budge.

It doesn't seem to be that badly corroded, the problem is your fingers can't get to the sides of the bulb, not enough room. I can push it in, just can't turn it. kinda hard to explain. maybe it's the wrong bulb and it's too big?

I bet it is the wrong bulb. Mine had the wrong ones in it when I got my car but since they pop out the back it was easy to change them. The glass part of the bulb should be the same diameter as the bulbs metal base that way you can get fingers in and turn it. There are bulbs that have a larger glass section than the metal base that'll fit in the socket. You may have to break the glass bulb part then use needle nose pliers to turn out the metal base.

ok, I kinda thought something wasn't right, you'd need a damn leprechaun to change them, which I don't have. what's the proper bulb number? thanks guys.
