How to Best Restore a Grille for 69 Dart

-
I do know that aircraft stripper takes the anodizing off fairy easily as I inadvertently was stripping some paint off of a quarter panel and I got some of it on the side trim (it was no good anyway, broken and bent) the anodizing came of in large flakes. There used to be a product called Zoop Seal that you could put over polished metal and it would not oxidize for a year or maybe two but I believe the product is no longer available. Maybe it has been replaced.

Can anyone explain what parts were painted on the factory versions?

I googled Dodge Dart, and looked at alot of different grills. I did mine like the red Dart in post#3 and bottom pic of post# 22 . took alot of time, but I like the look.

Idaho-It depends on what kind of Dart it is. Here is a Swinger grille on top and GT in lower pic. Post #24 is the best example of a GT grille I have come across.

Thanks. I can't see what's painted black on post 24. I'll try the google image search.
I kinda like it without much black.
