How to check if a torque Converter is operable

How do I test to see if a stock converter is in good operable condition for a 727. Thank you

Not sure if there is. Are you rebuilding a trans? If so, I wouldn't put a used converter in it, but that's just me.

Hey Bruce had the 727 look over new bands clutches etc. Do you recommend any specific torque converter? Thank you again
