How to get Clear Coat off reading glasses?

Forgot to take off the good plastic lense glasses before I cleared a front facia...what can I use to get it off without damaging the lenses? Thanksops:

Rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab.

I wonder if freezing the plastic lenses then let them start warming would let the Rubbing alcohol get under it so a plastic cuticle tool can be used to push it off.

I would say sand and buff but I am not a op@#$%^est, Just thinking.
