I found some Super Stock springs on craigslist and was wondering if there's any way to ID which ones they are before I purchase them. Are there any numbers stamped on them? Can I measure them or something? I also want to make sure they actually are Super Stock springs like he says. Thanks guys!

The springs most A body guys use are marked 002 and 003 this may not be visable if the springs have been painted or are really old. The 002-003 are different from each other. They look like they are for two differnt cars almost. The smaller leafs in the packs are made different lengths between the two springs and the arch in the springs will look different between the two when laid next to each other.

Hope that helps and doesn't just confuse you.

002 and 003 are the last 3 digits of the part #. Here's a pic of them side by side.

2nd pic shows the 003 stamping

Good Luck
