I know I can find the answer to my questions here. I'm trying to finish off the 68' Dart, and final steps are to remove the Chrome molding around the front and back windshield, and if necessary remove the glass. I'm hoping that the Vinyl roof protected the metal, and there's no rust or worst underneath. I won't know under I get down ther though.

Can some help walk me though how to remove this chrome molding without destroying it. I'm sure it's hard to come by, so want to preserve it as much as possible.

Thanks again to everyone on the Forum, your the best!

our autobody man for my dads shop gave me a tool for it...it works soooooooooo well.

cant tell you what it is called, but it looks like " ====ID " if that makes any sence

I'll try and find the tool at a local parts store. So how you do start, from the top, bottom, sides?

Thanks

My son "use to" work at a Auto window repair....The boys have lots of these tools on hand (or should). Perhaps if your lucky, drop by a auto glass shop and buy the boys a coffee for the use of one.
