How to scrap a car?

-
Most body shops have people that will
take anything made of iron.
They'll fight over it!

Here in my part of Tennessee we got $200.00 for a Dodge Diplomat. The
motor ( 360 ) and the trans was pulled out. No title was needed. It was a ex police car. We did have to remove the fuel tank. We also had a 1996 Intrepid in pieces. Give the neighborhood kids a sawzall, Pizza, and promise a trip to the local drag strip. Pieces of the car will be everywhere. Selling the metal paid for the saw, pizza and the "field trip". All worked out well and the kids had a blast.

I am interested in the front window trim if you have it.
Drip rail trim as well.
Rear bumper lenses.
PM or email me.

Sometimes you can over think things. Call those ads that say they'll "tow junk cars free". I lived in Philly. I know for a fact there are guys who'll take a car w/o a title. Car gone. '68 in driveway. Done.

Yeah, that's what I'm doing. I called a couple of guys already, and no takers yet w/o a title. i'm going to keep looking. I won't get a chance to take the remaining parts off 'till this weekend, but I will contact anybody who either PM'd me or asked for stuff in this thread. But, I agree, I'm just going to have to keep calling around and I'm sure I'll find somebody willing to take it. I considered cutting the thing up, but I sold my Ramcharger (which I have regretted several time already since I sold it a couple months ago), and I don;t have a trailer that's easily accesable - so I've pretty much ruled that option out.

Thanks for all the help guys, and I'll update w/ info on the remaining parts once I get to it this weekend.
