how to set preload

I would set them at 0 lash and give it a try and if there noisy tighten them up but I did read somewhere 2 thou clearance makes a fast revin engine.

put the lifter on the heel of the cam(side opposite the nose)adjust rocker until you can spin pushrod between two fingers very easy(clearance play). tighten adjuster while spinning pushrod until the is little resistance to spinning it. now adjust 1/4-1/2 turn tighter and lock nut.
