Does anyone know if there is a book or DVD that tells you how to assemble a mopar small block la step by step and tourqe spec's. I usually have a shop do it but this time I do.
 
There are quite a few books that have been published over the years including the factory service manuals (which are available in print or dvd). There are also a lot of videos on engine building topics. Read/watch several and bookmark your favorites for future reference. Here are a few I first purchased years ago. I use the web a lot to fix things these days.

75 duster 408ci the engine was in a swinger ran mid 11's but was dismantled cleaned and checked then i bought it in pieces cus that guy went to chevys. My car is stripped for weight reduction much lighter than his now i want to blow his doors off with his old engine.

He deserves to be a Chevy guy if he builds a 408 that only goes mid 11's, we have stock stroke 360's on here going from deep 11's to mid 10's..........what are the pieces that make up your 408

Really. That's what his car pulled. I haven't got that far yet it's all in boxes I'm still trying to get my car ready for the engine with new wiring harness wheel tubs etc. I did get aluminum heads for it and fit tech fuel injection kit
