After you blast and straighten disc dust shields, what would you do to make them as new original looking as possible? Paint, powdercoat?

If he's talking about the 65-72 Kelsey Hayes 4 piston caliper, disc brake systems, those dust shields are not reproduced by anyone.
You have to work with what you have.

Recently when i finished rebuilding a set of Kelsey Hayes disc brakes, i painted up the gravel shields with Mopar Rallye Wheel paint.
They came out looking like this, and was happy with the results.

slider shields; degrease, sandblast, paint with silver rustoleum. cheap, looks good. OEM are galvanized or Zinc dipped...weird finish. Hammertone silver might look correct though.
