Just wanted to say hi to all you Mopar freaks out there! My son and I just bought a nice 75 Swinger, nice body and chrome, but engine and compartment a disaster area! We pulled the motor and I rebuilt the thing, cleaned and painted all the parts, new radiator, master cyl, power steering hoses, belts, vacuum lines, well you get the picture. We heard of the Super Six setup, and obtained a factory aluminum intake manifold, 2 barrel carb (new in box) and found all the brackets for the accelerator and trans kickdown cable. Problem..since the stock 1 bbl carb throttle assy was located in the "back" of the carb, and the 2 bbl setup is similar to a regular setup on most carbs, the stock accelerator cable will not work. Does anyone know which cable I shoud use? I would like to stay with the original components and not use an aftermarket throttle cable and trans (904) kickdown assy. Is this cable available? I got the brackets for the 2 bbl assy from a Dodge van, is there one available for this, and how would I obtain it. This is the only thing holding up the job, and my son is itching to drive it. Thanks to any and all suggestions, advice etc, and I'll be back with more stuff, since I obtained a 69 Roadrunner and another Dart project car. HELP!!!!! Jim and Tyler Pacifica Calif :glasses7:

Welcome Jim & Tyler!!!

Sadly I wont be much help either on your question, but we'd love to see some pics of the 75' along with the new additions to your stable. :thumbrig:
