I've seen HUD displays that connect to OBD II or connect to a phone. Are there HUD displays that could be made to work on old cars? Essentially I want to project my rpm and speed on the windshield.
"G-Tech" is a device that pulls RPM from the cigar lighter socket and uses that and it's accellerometer to compute performance data such as 0-60 and 1/4 mile times with an RPM map of the run.
It has a computer interface.
Not sure if they have a phone app as I haven't kept up with them.
However, doing 0-60 and 1/8 and 1/4 miles out in the sticks with a fairly accurate record of the times is quite fun.
