Has anyone used the whiplash 360 cam? It is not recommended for stock magnum compression (to much psi ?) with 108 lobe sep. 110 lobe sep recommended for stock comp. ratio. I am building a budget 360 mag stock bottom end rebuilt moly rings new rod bolts ported & massaged EQ heads M1 single plane 750 dp holley for my 67 cuda fb 4-speed.Just wondering if any of you guys have experience with Hughes 360 mag cams? THANK YOU

Call Hughes and talk to them it's their cam .
If not that one they can get you the right cam !
Best of luck !!

It's more likely the 108. Computer controlled OEM does not like that. You can ask about that when you call.

Hughes isn't much more, for a custom grind. They do like lots of lift, stock 1.6 rockers get real friendly with retainers & valve guide tops with too much lift. .520-.530" lift is safe with Hughes 1110 springs/ matching retainers.( A drop in setup, no machining required) Any more lift will likely need the tops of the valve guides trimmed. Not a big deal, but it does need , the cylinder heads removed to do this. A custom push rod, is a real good idea here.
