Can I use my old oem 360 rocker shafts with the new hughes 1.6 rockers?

They sell the new groovy shafts for what looks like an additional 100.00.

Are new 100.00 shafts a fat waste of $ ?

If I understand the advertisement correctly.....450.00 for the hughes w/ new shafts.

I would use the shafts that go with the rocker arms...I would NOT use the OEM shafts, they are different...

Buy the rocker gear as a whole system, and you can't go wrong, and they will work and last.

Hughes Rockers, Shafts and hold downs get my vote everytime.
