hurst shifter

-
I had one in a Dart I used to own. I didn't care much for it. I couldn't get the detent to line up and it would slip past second and into third at times when banging gears. It was kinda awkard to use, my wife never could get used to it.The guy that bought the car didn't like it either. It could have been just this particular shifter being below par, it was the only one I've used.
I did have a B&m Prostick that was flawless and I would buy another one if I were to start bracket racing again.

I bought a nice used one to put in my Cuda but it never made it in there. Reason was I didn't car much for the action. I bolted it to the bench to try it out before I installed it. It was just plain akward I thought. I think I could have got used to it but I had my wife try it (and she's no slouch when it comes to drag racing) and she didn't like it at all. I tried a B&M shifter (can't remember what model) of my buddies and liked it much better.

Kinda funny how me and Gerty had nearly the same findings.
