hurst shifter

I have a hurst super shifter in my 340 Swinger. It is what they called a Push Down Shifter. Mine is not working very well and I was wondering if anyone has ever had one and and had to rebuild it . This one is hard to get into and out of reverse. Is there a rebuild kit available, Any information is appreciated...

The price list I have is old 1999, but mine says $60.00 plus $7.50 shipping. I had a Competition Plus shifter done by Hurst in 1994. At that time they charge me $40.00. They really did a nice job.

If it has a reverse lockout, you have a Supershifter III.

If it has a reverse lockout, you have a Supershifter III.

No lockout, just have to push shifter down towards the floor to get it in reverse

That's still a good shifter. When you said push down, I was thinking push down on the little red handle.
