For sale is a Hurst shifter that came off my truck od transmission. Handle has been wire brushed clean. Knob is new. Paint or powder coating the handle will make it look new. Shifter works fine. $225.00 + flat rate shipping from 13452. Paypal works best.

76-78? I am pretty sure it was an 8 because I took the clutch dust cover off of the bell housing. The shifter mechanism also works on A + B bodies.

Thanks, i have read that the O.D. was mostly used in /6s because of the first gear ratio.
I'm planning a 70 Sweptline build, possibly a /6.

You are probably right. When my son and I pulled the tranny at the salvage yard, I don't recall looking under the hood. It probably was a slant. That dust cover came off of another truck. I still have the transmission.
