Hydraulic to mechanical cam

Can you change a later model 81 and up hydraulic slant to a solid litter cam? Will it just fit right in and run no problems?

Not easy as it sounds. It can be done just a PITA.

Ok well what all does it entail to do it? I mean it doesn't seem like there is any difference rather than the rockers and the cam/lifters itself?

Going from hydraulic to mechanical is pretty easy. You will need the cam, lifters, pushrods, and rockers. Should just basically bolt together.
