HI,

I have been cleaning rusted parts with 50:50 water / muratic and electroplating a lot of them and am concerned a little bit with hydrogen embrittlement.

I have read that baking at 400 for 4 hours is a good way to alleviate such issues.
Down side is that I read they must be baked very shortly after acid dip or plating, and mine have sat for several days in room temperature. Dang!

Any one know about this subject and baking process?
