I found somebody to paint my car!

Hey Bobby,

You will see me at the Nats.

Somebody dredged this thread up from a year ago. I am more than happy with the paintjob I got for the price. He used R&M base/clear. I did the wetsanding and buffing after it was done. That is a long job. LOL
When I took him the car it was completely stripped. I only had the drivers seat in it.

Twenty five thousand for a damn paint job? That guy had to have been either delusional or a major a-hole. Right now I am testing this kid I used to teach in high school. The test car he is working on is my Mom's 83 Cougar which had a pretty straight body. This kid goes to school full time so it's taking a long time. However, after checking his progress it's looking very nice up to this point. I'm sure it won't be show quality since I'm only pain him $1200 dollars for the whole job. However, his family has been in the paint and body business for quite some time and he really takes his time. If the Cougar goes well my 88 Mark 7 will be next, then hopefully I'll give him my baby, the 74 Dart for some major work.

Sorry about that, never noticed the date on the first post. Was wondering why you were painting because it looked really nice last year at MCD on Saturday. See you later got to get ready for work. Bobby
