That's probably what I'm going to end up using. All I need are tires. I kinda wish the wheels were the the same width now though.

WD-40 and fine steel wool, polish up with terry cloth towel, the black on the towel shows you are getting them clean, gives them the Aluminum look. And the WD-40 helps protect them.

Now if you try to shine them like chrome, that will be a beeoch to maintain and shows water spots every time they get wet.
