I need a fuel sending unit.

Well, it's just not going to work. We put the old sending unit back into my son's '74 Dart Sport, and it worked somewhat for a while (never registered more than 3/4 full). Now it doesn't register at all.

Where can I get a reasonably priced 5/16" sending unit?

Sometimes the float may have a pin hole in it, that will eventually sink it, resulting in no readout on the fuel gauge. If the sending unit is bad you can find a ton of them on Ebay as cheap as $59.00. The Chrysler units are over a hundred dollars now.

'74 Sport, I have a extra sending unit from a 73 Dart Sport that was supposed to be working when pulled. How can I check and see if it is still working? If it checks out OK and you are interested in it just make me an offer plus shipping.
