I Need Help!!!!!!

I can't get my dodge dart 1974 to start. It has a slant 6 225c.i. with a 1 barrel holly carb. I lined up the timimg chain to exact specs, changed the spark plugs, and fuel pump. Every time I tried to start it, it cranks but won't turn over. I am lost. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you.

Try the ballast resistor located on the firewall. When they go bad the engine will keep cranking but will not start. Very in-expensive and always a good idea to have a spare.

THis is the right approach.Start with the basics. Confirm that you have spark,fuel and compression. Dont panic,we'll help!

My 2 cents, use/buy a test light before throwing money at parts that may not need replacing.
