I need pictures of Darts with 15 x 7 wheels on back!!!!!!

Wow. Only 11 Darts on this site. Thought there would more Dart owners here than that. LOL. Come on people, you know you want to show off your Dart. Post them pictures.

Have you swapped to big bolt pattern? My car with BBP (8-3/4 with 11x2" rear drum and the larger 11.75" discs) wants an 15x8 or 17x8 rim with a 22mm back spacing to center in the rear well. This will clear a 245/45/15 or 17 with about 1/2" per lip and spring, and mine are rolled but I have unrolled wheel well trim. The front wants more positive offset and/or smaller width tire and/or narrower rim. I currently run Centerline Convo Pro at 15x7.5 and a 225/60/15 tire, with a 5" offset. For some reason the 225 I have are as wide as 245 at the bulge.

If you have deviated from stock the best way to know is measure your car. I have one side of my car that is bit different due to a quarter panel replacement.

Oh and 1970 and newer Darts, Dusters and Dart Sports have different fender well sizes.

Yes. I have the 5 X 4 1/2 pattern. I have the 11 x 2 1/2" brakes on the rear from a C body. I have 15 x 8 rear wheels with 4 1/2" backspace and 245 60 tires and it is just too much for the fenderwell. I am hoping a 7" wide wheel will give me the clearance I need to roll the fender lip back down.

These are my "interim" tires/ wheels. Just some I grabbed off craigslist, paid a hundred for 4. The backspace is not material to you, this thing has a Versailles disc brake 9" under there. Tires are 225/75x15, Backspace 5 1/8"

They are CLOSE, and the chrome trim rubbed a little up on the tread on a hard left, but not the right. Just a little grinding on the front edge of the chrome was all it took.

Car has rear spring packs made up of the larger leaves from the 67, plus the larger leaves from a junker 73/4 Duster/Demon. About the same no of leaves +1 I think, but used the larger ones from both packs. It sits about right for now, I might put one more leaf in 'er if I live long enough to get the disc front end under it.

Factory 15x7 Steelies all around.
235/60-15 all around.

I like the looks of your Dart but you need to get rid of the side molding
Thanks for posting a picture I've been debating what wheels to use on my use to be 74 Scamp.
I have a full set of cop wheels and caps with 215/70/15 tires I may try when the time comes
If you ever ad cop car hub caps please send me a picture I'll pm my email address to you

Yes, post those pics.

I had 245 60's on 8" steelies. The wheel lip was rolled.
SirDan, that is a lot of tire in there. And I thought my 245 60's were tight in there. Thats where the 7" vs 8" rim makes the difference in a stock wheel well.

I just got some wheel vintiques 15x7 sbp steels for one of my darts. Fits my 71 8 3/4 with 255/60/15 BFg tires. 4" back spacing is tight but they fit.

Garth

275/60/15 on a 7" wheel. stock wheel wells but the leaf springs have been relocated under frame.

You can see some close up pictures in this thread. I did actually trim out a little of the fender lip to eliminate rubbing in turns from the body roll after driving car for a year without any fender modifications.

i'm sorry to bother you with a question on your tire/wheel fitment, but have to ask about your spring location. So instead of a kit, you just moved your springs to the frame rails and trimmed the inner fender to run your 15x7s w/4.25" back spacing and 275/60-15s, correct? Did you trim anything from the outside of the frame rails? I run 69' Dart
