Hi All. I'm checking the timing on my 1974 Duster 225 and haven't done this in awhile. Just to be sure, the timing light is hooked up to the #1 cylinder - which is the cylinder all the way up front closest to the radiator, right? Thanks.

Correct.

Actually the way the firing order works on most any inline 6, a timing light will flash exactly the same time if hooked up to the front cylinder, as it will on the rearmost one.....
