I want pics of your cars for use on T-shirts

Hi, I am trying to start a little hobby t-shirt business, so I'm making an offer to anyone that wants there car on a shirt, and will give me permission to use the image of your car on other t-shirts.

The offer is this, send me a hi-res image of your car, it MUST be hi-res to make a good shirt, and have a good angle. Also, I can extract the car from the rest of the photo through photoshop, but be careful of things like trees and people behind your car that may show up through the windows in the picture. If I want to use your picture, you get the first shirt for $5 shipped, I am losing money doing this, but it is a thank you for letting me use your cars image on other shirts. You also get to pick any custom text you want on your shirt at no extra cost, and I will also send the image to you for approval before I make the shirt. This is more of a hobby than a business, after I make the shirts I'm only going to be charging $11 for the shirts when they make it to the site. I'm making a little pocket change, but definately not going to get rich when you figure in the price of the shirt, transfers, shirt press, and other related equipment. Just want to be honest with you guys.

Mr. Sunderland its sounds neat but I think that if you are using someones image for your profit I think they should get atleast a FREE t-shirt? You are saving money but not highering someone to take photos or for their car. Then are copyrigting the images they give. This isn't a flame but you could give them a free t-shirt for using the image.

BTW one of biggest pet peaves is when someone comes onto a BB and tries to sell things. I may be a new member here and haven't contibuted much yet, but you could have aleast went over to the Welcome Wagon and said hi first instead of trying to sell t-shirts as YOUR first post. But hey that's just me and my 2 cents!

I agree. I think its kind of rude myself. But, Ill let the thread stay.
