I wish there was a way to keep dogs away from my front "yard'.

Neighbors dog used to come over here. Woman of the house didn't really mind except the dog had fleas. None of her dogs have fleas. Wife came up with a couple of solutions. Nah, I took the water hose and blasted the dog. Dog never came back over again.
I see you live in Mexico. In that heat, the dogs might enjoy it and call their friends to come over.:)

My street is not paved, just dirt, and the front "yard" is dirt too. The neighborhood dogs, (and strays, I guess), love to make deposits on our property. Local customs do not really allow me to insist the owners keep their dogs inside or on a dog run on their own property. Just a free for all around here. Picking up after them is not one of my favorite things to do. One would think in the year 2018, there would be a foolproof way to take care of the problem.

Have a Deer problem in our neighbor hood. Couple pumps on a pellet gun works great. Little pain however no injury. They learn pretty quickly. Would work just as well on a dog if their doing the deed when your around.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the water jug "fences". I guess everyone here is too smart to believe that would be effective.

Get a drone and buzz them.
that would be too much fun! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

If I had a dog problem, I`d do whatI`ve done in the past. GET a hi power bb gun, doesn`t make enough noise to attract attention, one or two times, they get the point, and use the other side of the street.
