Here is the deal. I have a 1968 Barracuda that just has the stock hood. I want a six-pac hood but do not know what paint skeem to go with so my car does not look bad. The car is a bluish purple ( Custom Mix ) So I know I will not be able to match the color. So I figured I could paint the hood black ( Semi Gloss or Flat black ) not really sure. But does anyone have pics of there hood done this way so I can see if I can make it work without spending a ton of money to have it repainted.
