Had the vertical tail-lights with the point, as seen in the photo.
The 1966 Mercury's had the horizontal tail-lights.

It is an actual car near a friends home. Well IDK since it has PLYMOUTH in chrome letters on the trunk. Maybe someone is playing a trick and it isn't me. I'll see if I can get a PIX the next time I'm out there.

Both had the same shape to the quarter extension, you can't tell from the side (which is the only view we have)
