identifying casting number for 340 manifold

i have a drivers side manifold with the number 3814388-2 date is 11-13-73 , i can't find this number in my parts exchange book can anyone confirm this is for a 340 thanks dennispsalm91@yahoo.com

that is a strange number??? the closest thing i see to it is 340 1969-70 Dart / Left 3614368 ,although the casting date dosen't match at all ??? i was thinking that maybe some of the numbers are rusty and 6 could look like an 8.....clean it up good and post a pic of it.

This is what you have.you most likely read the numbers wrong as some of them are bad casting,but the number you have is 3614368=72-74,340,for a A-body car, for a left manifold,mrmopartech

you are right Mrmopartech. i see i wrote the wrong engine down, but i am almost sure this is the right manifold he is talking about as well. i do see on the tech side here that this is the also for the earlier 340's as well.

Also note that these parts have a service number also.The service number is 3614367,mrmopartech
