IF MY BODY WERE A CAR ...

If my body were a car, this is the time I would be

thinking about trading it in for a newer model. I've

got bumps and dents and scratches in my finish and

my paint job is getting a little dull .

But that's not the worst of it.

My headlights are out of focus and it's especially

hard to see things up close.

My traction is not as graceful as it once was. I slip

and slide and skid and bump into things even in the

best of weather.

My whitewalls are stained with varicose veins.

It takes me hours to reach my maximum speed.

My fuel rate burns inefficiently.

But here's the worst of it --

Almost every time I sneeze, cough or sputter.....

either my radiator leaks or my exhaust backfires! :wack:

You're not alone Jimmy. At least I got my rust situation under control. :toothy7: My cold starts are brutal, definitely need some carb work.

Somebody raced me without subframe connectors.

I think I need to be put on the frame straightener.

I think my cam shaft is wore! I can't seem to get enough air.
And my shocks are gone. But with a little pedaling I can still get there.

Good one J.B.

My hands seem to becoming permanently stained black from working on the car(s) truck, whatever all the time. Does that mean I'm turning into a car?!

I was once an A-body but my belly pan is starting to sag. I think I'm turning into a C-body.

heck..i'm only about 20 and i feel like that 2..hahaha

I may be 50 and my finish isn't what it once was, but, my engine still runs like the day it was new and there's nothing wrong with my "tail" pipe.

At 53,other than the "oil pressure" being a little high, my "mechanic" says everything else checks out pretty good.

Yeah, but are you still getting full "lift" from your "cam"?

Some good ones guys, yep, the ole cam still has some good lobes left, but sometimes it seems the cam bearings are a tad sloppy.

yeah..i was thinkin' about upgradin' to a bigger cam..more chop and more power... :)

The only difference between now at 58 and when I was 20, is that I'm much thinner on top and MUCH thicker in the middle.

Jack, I'm with you - I may have snow on the roof, but I still have spring in my a$$. :angel9:
