Ignition Control to Distributor

As a matter of interest, I have the cct diagram of the GM HEI 4 pin ign module.
Neither p/up wire is grounded, & as I stated above I doubt the Mopar one is either.
Pick up coil is not grounded. It just uses that AC signal to trigger the ecu.

From service manual ,check pin 5 for ground. From wiring schematic pin 5 wire is common grounded wire used by both pickup coils. Pin 4 wire is switched by relay between run and start pickups. So guess pin 5 ground and pin 4 signal wire.The books do not say that exactly. But my best guess

Halifax. My response was to poster #20, who claimed the one p/up wire IS grounded.
 
I have an orange MP lbox, 4120505 Pin 5 or D in the sketch I posted has the same resistance to the housing of the box as clipping the two leads on my DVM together.

0.01ohms or shorted to ground.
