ignition switch adjustment?

hey guys, is there an adjustment on the ignition switch on a 75 duster? I just got the duster started up, after a new engine and all new wiring, and if I don't keep the key barely turned to the right after the engine starts, my msd box will lose power, and the engine will shut off. If I have the key turned over to the first accessory stage, the msd box is not lit like it should be, but if I barely turn it farther like I am going to start the car, then the light will come on. I thought maybe you have to adjust the switch so that it is at the proper location when the accessories are on. Any thoughts?

bad switch ... there is no adjustment ... do you have power to other things when the swith is in the run position ? If so just hook the MSD to that terminal.
