Ok guys,
1972 duster 904 starter from a 1999 Dakota.
I've been have some issues getting it fires up after it's been driving just fine.
Sometimes I'm getting nothing from the key, others it just clicks loudly over and over like a bad starter. Weak crank but other times it engages and is fine.
I can jump the starter at the solenoid but it won't catch and run with the key in on position.
New wiring for the starter and battery and starter relay. Starter relay is recent. Also it's electronic ignition and I thing the box is going out being that it would sometimes catch and try and start when you let the key go back to run.
Any tips or has anyone had this before.
