"A" body bretheren, been looking to replace ignition tumbler on 71 Duster. No one on this planet has one. Plenty available for 72-76. Would those years match up by ant chance?

Why? Any locksmith can re-key your old one. You can also remove all tumblers and springs and any key will work.
IIRC, one is retained in the column by a detent pin, while the other is retained by a detent blade The collar would be cast to accept the corresponding tumbler.........It's been a while, I'm a bit foggy. Perhaps someone can confirm or denounce.
Fellas, tumbler is fine....want to replace it as the chrome piece you turn ignition, on broke off.
