just put a new painless muscle car wire harness in my 72 duster. everything is working fine except for ONE wire! It is the wire that gets hot through the ignition and goes to the ballast resistor. Using a test light it has NO power in off position as it shouldnt and in the run position the test light is very dim. when i hold key slightly further forward than run position just before starter engages it gets a nice very bright light like it should have in the normal run position? Any ideas? I am leaning towards something in the column but have no clue?
