put a "painless" muscle car harness on my 72 duster. I beleave everything in engine compartment is correct. Here is the problem I am having. I cant find an ignition wire for radio by testing them all and only running 6volts to resistor on run? I dont have a single one thats hot with the key backwards in accessory position? here is what I have everything hooked up to below,
color and what its hooked to and result,
Yellow to ignition switch start (works hot only in start position 12 volts)
Black to Ignition switch B+ (hot in run only 12 volts)
Dark Blue to Ignition Switch Ignition (hot only in run 12 volts)
Red to thick wire I ran from Battery to voltage meter on dash(always 12v)
Brown directly to bottom left of ballast resistor (6volts in run and 12volts in start position and 12 volts halfway between start and run?)
