I ended up selling my 71 duster last January, As soon as I watched the guy drive away, I regretted it, but its one of those lessons learned. I called him up a in the fall to see if he was interested in selling it back, and he said there was no way he was selling the car. So at least I got some reassurance in knowing that he was enjoying her and taking care of her.

Anyways I've been looking for another dart or duster to replace mine. Searching for another old car can be a fun task or a pain in the butt. I've gone to look at so many dusters and darts over the past few months, and not a single one looked and drove the way they were described.

I found a member on here who had a beautiful 74 duster for sale. I made the drive in Indianapolis to Cincinnati yesterday to look at it and it was just as nice, if not nicer in person that it was in the photos. The car looks great, sounds awesome, and drives down the road like a new car.

He and I were able to make a real reasonable offer, and I ended up driving the car home. I'm glad to have another A body, and I'm glad to be active again on the Forum!!

You're back??? Thanks for the warning.... LOL!

Welcome back, nice car. Very clean. A/C...

WHAT ENGINE???

LOL, A warning is the least I could do for all the help I've received in here.

The car is an original A/C car, but it is not installed.
She has a 318/904, that has been beefed up a little bit. It was restored in 08. The previous owners did all the work and had photos of all the work along the way.

There is a long laundry list of new parts on the car: front and rear sway bars, new steering box, 3.21 sure grip, engine and transmission completely rebuilt, brand new tires, I could keep going. I like that she is a numbers matching car, and frosty green is definitely a cool 70's color!!!

looks like a real nice car! sometimes life is not complete unless there is at lt least one old mopar around!??? LOL
