Well after a 5 year break from my 65 dart build, due to moving from WA to AZ. I finally got my car moved own here. purchased a rotisserie and ready to get back to work on this thing. Ive also picked up a 5.7 hemi and nag1 out of a 2006 charger to drop in.

my plans now are to finish the sub frame connectors and torque box installs. I just ordered the lower rad core support enforcement and a mini tub kit. do spring relocation, ordering a hemidenny suspension for front. Get body stripped inspected sealed and primed. figure out wich fuel tank im gonna use with the 8.8 rear not sure if a factory style will work, if not gonna use a mustang tank setup for efi. Ill try and keep this post updated and of course include pics since I know everyone here loves pics lol.
 
Just a quick update, not alot of actual work done on my car, other than pulling the rest of the body panels. I ordered and setup a metal carport so few times it rains and mainly give me a shaded area over my car. also ordered my efi fuel tank from tanks inc, decided to go with the mustang tank to eliminate clearance issues with the 8.8 rear. got my hemi oil pan, and oc performance intake, throttle body adapters are back ordered still. recieved the new upper control arm mounts from classic industries, dropped the 5.7 hemi off at the rebuilders last week, found out yesterday it had spun a rod bearing, other than that it looks real gd inside, its getting punched .30 over, crank and rods machined, new valve seats, performance cam, mds delete. was going to order the harness from hotwire this week for the hemi using a nag 1 trans. glad id waited since sunday I stumbled across an 8spd trans from a 2018 srt challenger with 18k miles. that about sums everything up, needless to say its going to be a busy summer lol.

lol never know funny you mention that. was in the 50's last weekend, than yesterday was 80 today mid 60's
 
new up date finally started actual work on my 65 Dart. had the 5.7 Hemi rebuilt, starting to replace upper control arm mounts. and scored a 8sp trans out of 2018 challenger with 18k miles. lastly ordered harness from hotwire.

rebuilt 5.7 and 8hp70 mated up fuel rails and throttle body adapters are still on back order. wire harness from hotwire been ordered. making progress. started working on replacing my upper control arm mounts, Anybody with an early A im needing some measurements shown in second pic. from control arm mount hole to bottom frame rail on all 4 holes just wanting to make sure im setting new mounts in right spot.

Im bad about updating this lol but i have been working on it. Replaced upper control arm mounts, & inner wheel wells, finised torque boxes. Really wish i had the rotisserie when i started them & did the subframe connectors. Did first trial fit of the hemi/ 8hp70 setup. Trimmed trans tunnel & almost ready to try again.
