....from a hell of a good weekend in Springfield at Missouris' largest automotive swap meet. Had a great time and saw Greengodemon(Stan) and a bunch of other gear heads. My main goal was to find me a buffer on a stand. You know the one with the double end shafts and the buffing pads to polish trim. Didn't see what i was looking for so i sent the boy over to Grizzly and he got me the set up for $100. Had a good time. Went up Friday morning pulling the Harley and stayed till late Saturday evening and got home about 10 pm last night. I did get some good stuff for some good prices. Got me two tap and die sets. One metric and 1 SAE. They go up to 3/4". I had some but they were just parts and pieces. Got a set of lug nuts for $1 each for my rallys. Got some rally center caps and two sets of BBP rallys. I did find a front grill for my collection of parts for my 56 effy and the bottom valance for the same truck all for $45. I think i'm ready to get started on it as soon as i get the 74 Snake Skin out of the shop. I already have the 302 FI motor and tranny in the Lincoln setting in the field ready for installation. Oh...I almost forgot..I got some decals for some of my Dusters. This is not a Mopar friendly swap meet but if you were looking for a ford or chevy part...they had it. There were about 15 of us gear heads up there so you can say it was fun. The next one is MMW in St Louis sept 25-27 at Gateway International Raceway. Be there or be square. The "Legendary MeMike" will be there signing autographs.....for a fee(Just enough to pay for the Tequila). I almost forgot. I got two 5 gal cans of laquer thinner for $30 each.
