My 71 dart.I want to keep the stock wheel wells,i heard 9 inch wheels will fit.I found some 15x8 inchwheels, with 5.50 backspace.Im sure there will be rear spring relocation involved, will the 3/4 spring relocation work?will these wheels work at all in the stock wheel wells? Also whats the widest tire i can use,id like 295/50/15s,but will settle for 275/60/15s.Help me out,oh wise ones of the a body world! lol http://store.summitracing.com/partd...700+400304+320041+4294755963+115&autoview=sku

On mine I put 15x8 with 4.50 in. back spacing. No spring relocating. I was able to fit 245/60/15 which was close. I hope this helps.

I put 17x7s on my 67, and moved the spings in, and there is a ton of room there. The backspace on my wheels is only 3.75", but with you moving the springs in, I doubt you'll have any issues.

I guess I also shortened my axle slightly, so that means that you should even have a better chance.

My car has big bolt pattern axles, so it spaces the wheels out a little farther than small bolt axles. Which do you have? I would imagine big-bolt if you have a wheel that size available.

I agree with 340dart. I used 15 x 7's with 4.25" BS. A little bit more clearance at the spring side for some more. I'm confident that the 8's would fit mine with the 4.5" BS. I'm also running a 245/60-15

I think that if you want 295 or 275 you will need some sort of mini tub.
In the factory wheel well i think 245 is about the largest you can go with no issues on either side of the tire (spring or lip clearence)
