Immediate Ideas Needed

Yes, still could be a switch issue or maybe a loose connection to it or the resistor. I would think/hope a high current draw would take out a fuse first.
My experience was I bought my Durango 11/2001. One resistor died a little over the first year. The second made it three years. The last one made it till the Durango got totaled 09/2013. So I ruled out the switch as the issue (or maybe it was just getting broke in, lol).
The owner of an Dakota across the street has replaced his resistor twice also since he purchased new.
I replaced one in my Boss' Durango at the shop one day for the same problem.
