Bought a new speedo..this was a 'special order' that the sales rep swore up and down was an electronic unit and had a sender..opened it up because I have new cluster to find out the da** thing is mechanical.

I will try to make this work...

It says the connection is a 5/8" 18 male connector...requires a.104 square female cable
1:1 drive ratio 60 mph at 1000 rpm

We are running 14 inch rims ..moving eventually to 17s to get the width..

Is his darn thing usable or do I have a discussion with the toddies that sold it to me ?

lastly, does anyone know of a supplier of a electronic speedo that reads in KMS ? I am assuming an electronic speedo is adjustable..

Nothing easy is worth it..

I'm running a VDO electronic in my 63 dart and I believe they are programmable in mph or km. You should check them out. Very nice unit and easy to program.
