The old Chrysler Classic events throughout Ohio are a thing of the past. The last event in the series was ALWAYS at Norwalk. To me it was the last big bang before Winter. I'd stand by the starting line and just breathe in the tire smoke and clutch dust because I knew it would have to carry me through the winter.
Hemi Super Stocks and Nostalgia SS cars are the best part. Nothing like 40-50 show quality high compression Hemis and wedges fired up, waiting to move into the burn out box, race gas fumes, fenders vibrating, bumpers flapping. Big burnout.
Oh man, I gotta go outside and cool off.
