So I'm putting a new carpet in my Duster. While I was online shopping I noticed that the carpet company showed the proper carpet for 1974 as cut pile, and I thought to myself, "that's funny." I have had several 74's and they all had 80/20 loop. And the current car has 80/20. Anyway pulled the old carpet out today and there was a little paper attached (original) with the factory color and a date of July 1974. Must be more profit in the cut pile carpet. It is listed incorrectly as 1973 and earlier, but most 74's also had 80/20 loop.
