Inland 4-Speed Shifter difference A and B

Is there a difference between an A-Body and B-Body Inland 4-Speed Shifter besides the handle? If so, how can you tell?

The shifter mounting plate on the tailhousing is different, positions the shifter just slightly different.

I think so. I have a bunch of this stuff packed away somewhere out in the cold garage. What year are you looking at? I have a 67 parts book-I could look up the part numbers tomorrow if needed.
