I'd like to put some slicks on my Dart, Has Cooper 255/60/R15, BS 4.25(?) as seen below. I can get a smoking deal on a pair of GY slicks in 26.5 x 10 x15....any thoughts appreciated.

1/2" offset hanger/ shackle kit, BAM! That should do it. If you ever want your car to hook, you need to commit to some tires at least 10 wide. Keep the wheels unchanged.

I put the Dr. Diff offset spring hanger kit in my car. 002/003 Super Stock springs, 15"x7" stock steel wheels with 4.25" BS. I got 28"x9" M/T ET Drags to fit perfect. 1" between the sidewall and the spring, 1/2" between sidewall and the wheel lip. BTW, my car is a '70 Swinger.

I am going to get the slicks and mount them up on these S/S rims, can't hurt to try. And then if needed I will swap the hangers. Those 255's look pretty wide.
Have no idea if these are the stock spring or not. Those bushings look crusty !!

As far as slicks go, I am thinking these should fit in the wheel wells: 245/50-15 NITTO NT 555R

You sure about that size? They only show 3 sizes in 15inch wheel, 2-275s, and a 325
