Just something that came across my mind today...i know the Nats, Carlisle and various other shows everyone strives to attend...But what about an A bodies only show, or "cruise in" if you will? I dont know the logistics but i would take leave from the service for this kinda event myself...What does everyone else think? What about a location? Middle USA? Just an idea...something like April, May...think it would be fun...any inputs? Or just tell me im crazy :headbang:

I would love something like that. I just wouldn't go til my car was done. That will be at least 5 years away though. But it would certainly be a very cool show.

let's do it in st.louis.and get some old hillbilly's out to show off there A bodie's
:coffee2:

I like the idea, though my car would not be finished this summer, I'd still show. I'd go half the country for it.

If we do it let's pick a spot that has a track (or near by), some of us might want to do more than just show & shine. That way it could be a 2 day event since most will have to travel.

Wow...that is brilliant. I wanna go. :love4: It would be nice if it were not more than 1000 miles...ok maybe 1500 mi. from Houston and in the late spring or early fall. A track and maybe small gatherings headed to a central location in this great country. Maybe a Mopar mag to cover it? :headbang: That would be so cool. :salute:

Yeah all of us in Tx. could built a world record caravan to the meet. Ok well maybe it won't be a record but it would be sweet to see a hundred or so Abodies headin down the road.

if this is to happen then i think the only way to fairly choose the location would be by membership location. take a look at the greatest consontration(sp) of members within a geographic location. in otherwords if 75% of all the active members on here are within 150 miles of kansas and 10% are from east of kansas then the location would be at the central to slightly eastern part of kansas.

Lebanon Kansas is the geographic center of the lower 48. I know there is a NHRA track at Kearney Nebraska which is about 90 miles north of Lebanon. This is about 900 miles from Houston. It would be about 1,400 miles for me from Washington.

By looking at their web site they had a cruise night with grudge, test & tune and jackpot drags this year. It would be best to show up at one of these type races that way you can race all night and have fun (no eliminations).

Now thats the kinda input im talkin about...diff regions can meet up and cruise there like the hot rod power tour! i think ill juggle this more...all about logistics gang! :headbang:

Sounds like a great opportunity for some fun! I'm in if I can get there in a day or two............. :headbang:

 Sounds like a good time to me. Hope to have the Duster on the road by then. If not,the Sport can go. (Who knows, maybe both). :drinkers:
