Inside Hood Latch ?

I found a Inside Hood Latch release from a 70's A body here on the forum for sale and wondering if the Latch assy. is the same for a '65 Barracuda? I would like to have the Hood secure for my daughter when she goes to school so nobody can get to it unless the car is unlocked. Anybody got info on this? Thanks, Tim :coffee2:

I think the actual hood latch has to be designed for the internal release- I bought one and found out that I need a different latch to make use of the cable.

Thanks for the info 95teetee. The one I have found has the latch with it, it is the whole kit off of a 70's a body, just need to know if the assembly will fit her '65 Barracuda. :coffee2:

just found out it will not work at all the latches are totally different thanks everyone
